REVIEW is a meet up group for artists, writers and creative practitioners that was initiated by Rachel Maloney (artist and UOB technical demonstrator in photography) and Polly Wright (Programme Producer at Brighton CCA) that began in 2022.

The format:

– Three practitioners will be given 15 minutes each to present their work, for example this could be an idea, a piece of work or a project
– Each session will have a dedicated facilitator who will respond to each presentation and chair discussions
– There will be time at the end for further informal conversations led by the group

REVIEW in March will be hosted at Brighton CCA: Dorset Place, 6 Dorset Place, Brighton, BN2 1ST.

This REVIEW session will be facilitated by Rachel Maloney. Rachel Maloney is an artist and researcher currently working as a Technical Demonstrator in Photography at the University of Brighton (UK). Her practice centres around personal memory and domestic practices of collecting and archiving, particularly in relation to how they shape the narrative and representation of women. Rachel was the Victoria and Albert Museum / University of Brighton Research Fellow from 2019 to 2021 and her recent exhibition ‘The Matriarchive’ at Brighton CCA showcased the outputs of this project.
