EVENT 2:
Join us for an evening of collective joy and revelry as King Tafari Sound run the records for vibration appreciation purposes only.

Bobby Brown is a Creative Producer, Artist Manager, Community Worker and Broadcaster. In recent years Bobby has focused his energies on Brighton and it’s local artists and community; working with long-time friends, Rap & Production duo Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn, as well as working across various grassroots and community projects with organisations such as AudioActive, BARCO, Brighton People’s Theatre, The Hangleton and Knoll Project, Platform B Radio and The New Society.

Wanting to explore his heritage and engage with pioneers before him that have had great influence on his journey, Bobby has joined forces with King Tafari Love Muzic for a 2-part series of events, delving into the histories of the sound, culture and adventures that have brought us to this present moment.

King Tafari Love Muzic are Brighton’s original, pioneering and custom-built sound system who have been packing out dance floors since 1984. Run by a Rasta crew consisting of selector Sista Dan, operator Judah T and Mic chanters MC Trooper and Demus Dee. KTLM have been entertaining many generations and nations with their quality and uplifting Reggae Music, filled with positive messaging and meaning – Forever bringing a joyful vibe wherever they go!

The crew have been playing sessions throughout the south-coast and beyond, performing at many public and private events on a regular basis, featuring and supporting some of the biggest names in the scene including Gussie P and Earl Sixteen.

KTLM is a fertile ground for emerging talents, helping their development and continuation of the message for generations to come. Such talent includes the likes of Brother Culture, Ruben da Silva, MC Buzz (Likkle Judah), Darrison (Ragga Dan), Rob Catto, Joy (Kings hi-fi) + many more. Jah works is their mission!
