Making Time is a new initiative that responds to the climate emergency, bringing the ideas of artists and art production into conversation with new material possibilities. Brighton CCA have partnered with Artangel, Science Gallery London, and Radar at the University of Loughborough to facilitate a year of material experimentation for four artists wanting to explore sustainable new material production. The year-long programme reimagines our material future while supporting artists to innovate, experiment, explore, fail, and succeed. The programme has no prescribed artistic outcome, instead it supports artists to innovate, experiment, explore, fail, and succeed in exploring and producing new material possibilities.

The artists chosen to participate in this first edition of Making Time are:

Abbas Zahedi

Dani Admiss

FRAUD Collective

Rachel Pimm

Information on their individual projects and proposals can be found below at their individual Studio Dialogues pages

Making Time is devised by Artangel and produced in partnership with Science Gallery Londonat King’s College London.

The programme is supported by Brighton CCA at the University ofBrighton and Radar at Loughborough University
